Funny or Sad?

Okay, so I'm home watching a little TV before going to class for 31/2 hours that I will NEVER get back. On comes a commerical selling an Obama Collectible Plate. I cannot decide if that's funny or just another sad attempt to cash in on his election as our 44th president. Can't we just rejoice in the fact that we (and by we, I would like to think that means most people) have elected a man because of what he says, not because of the color of his skin.

Anyway, I beg you to go to this website: http://www.victoryplate.com/. Some of it is just so cheesy! My two favorite parts?
1) The opening scene where there are two Caucasian couples eating with an Obama plate in the background. Of course you have to look quickly and closely; otherwise it looks like they are eating off of the plates. Athough I should have known better; you are limited to 2 plates per household. I can't imagine that the other couple would risk bringing their own plates over for fear of breakage along the way! :o)

2) The obvious usage of the phrase, "Yes you can."

The cheese factor is simply too much at that point. Just promise me one thing...when you purchase the plates, consider paying the extra shipping charge for the uncirculated Obama/Washington coin and send it to me!!!

Here are some updated pics of the bruised toe. Not sure why I'm so enthralled by a purple toe, but in reality there is little else going on here and any activity is captivating!

...that cleaning is dangerous!

While re-arranging a closet yesterday, I was viciously attacked. Below is a mugshot and a crime scene photo.
Proudly, I can say that the perpetrator was quickly apprehended and returned to said closet!
